When you think Grammy Award winners, you think of Beyoncé or Ed Sheeran. But 3 U.S.A. presidents have added the Grammy awards to their CV’s. Can you guess which 3?

No you are right, no president have topped the charts for their singles debuts or their platinum albums. But there are loads of award categories including Best Contemporary Instrumental Album and the Best Improvised Jazz Solo.

But you also get a category called “Best Spoken Word Album”. This is for spoken words such as audiobooks or documentaries narrated by someone. Of course, presidents with a good authoritative voice is very sought after.

In 2004, Bill Clinton won Best Spoken Word Album for My Life, just a year after he earned the Best Spoken Word Album for Children thanks to Prokofiev: Peter And The Wolf/Beintus: Wolf Tracks.

#3 – Barack Obama

Barack Obama has won two Grammys, including Best Spoken Word Album in 2006 for the Dreams from My Father audiobook and another in 2008 when he took home the Best Spoken Word Album Grammy for the audiobook version of The Audacity of Hope.
